Finely modeled in the classical tradition with flowing drapery and contemplative pose. A rare piece as it’s made of genuine high quality porcelain rather than modern resin, the figure has a smooth, marble like finish that closely resembles antique statuary. Such porcelain classical figures were popular in Europe during the late 1800s and early 1900s, and authentic examples have become rare and valuable today.
Condition: Overall good for age. A small tear at the base is visible in photos, and one finger is broken, though the loss is subtle and does not detract from display.
Height : 12.5”
